Sync your extracted invoice data to Google Sheets for real-time collaboration and analysis.

Connecting Google Sheets

Navigate to Integrations

Go to Settings → Integrations in your dashboard.

Click Connect Google

Click the Connect button next to Google Sheets.

Authorize Access

Sign in to your Google account and grant VATextractpermission to create and edit spreadsheets.

Select or Create Sheet

Choose an existing spreadsheet or create a new one for your invoice data.

Exporting to Google Sheets

Manual Export

  1. Select invoices in your dashboard
  2. Click Bulk Actions → Export to Google Sheets
  3. Data is appended to your connected spreadsheet

Automatic Sync

Enable auto-sync in integration settings:
  • New invoices automatically added to your sheet
  • Updates sync when invoice data is modified

Sheet Structure

VATextractcreates a structured spreadsheet:

H: StatusProcessing status
Column headers are automatically created on first export. You can rename columns without breaking the sync.

Sharing & Collaboration

Your connected Google Sheet can be shared with team members:
  1. Open the spreadsheet in Google Sheets
  2. Click Share in the top right
  3. Add collaborators with view or edit access
Changes made by collaborators in Google Sheets do not sync back to VATextract.

Permissions

VATextractrequests the following Google permissions:

We never access your other Google Drive files or Gmail.

Troubleshooting

Your Google token may have expired. Disconnect and reconnect the integration in Settings.
The integration uses the first sheet in your spreadsheet by default. Select a different sheet in the integration settings.
