Your Personal Inbox

Every VATextract account includes a unique email address for invoice forwarding:
...@vat-extract.com
Find your personal address in Settings → Email Forwarding.

How It Works

Receive an Invoice

An invoice lands in your regular work email.

Forward It

Forward the email to your VATextract inbox address. You can find it on the dashboard.

Automatic Processing

VATextract extracts the PDF attachment and processes it immediately.

View Results

The extracted invoice appears in your dashboard within seconds.

Supported Attachment Types

Email Rules Setup

Set up automatic forwarding in your email client:
  1. Go to Settings → Filters and Blocked Addresses
  2. Click Create a new filter
  3. Set criteria (e.g., from specific suppliers)
  4. Choose Forward it to your VATextract address

Security

Unique Address

Your inbox address is unique and private. Only emails to this address are processed.

Encrypted Storage

Attachments are encrypted in transit and at rest. Files are deleted after processing.

Troubleshooting

  • Ensure the email was sent to the correct address
  • Check that the attachment is a supported format (PDF or image)
  • Verify the attachment isn’t password-protected
Yes! Forward from any email address. All invoices appear in your single VATextractdashboard.
