Supported Attachment Types

If multiple PDF attachments are included in one email, each is processed as a separate invoice.
Email Rules Setup
Set up automatic forwarding in your email client:- Gmail
- Outlook
- Go to Settings → Filters and Blocked Addresses
- Click Create a new filter
- Set criteria (e.g., from specific suppliers)
- Choose Forward it to your VATextract address
Security
Unique Address
Your inbox address is unique and private. Only emails to this address are processed.
Encrypted Storage
Attachments are encrypted in transit and at rest. Files are deleted after processing.

- Check that the attachment is a supported format (PDF or image)
- Verify the attachment isn’t password-protected
